At the end of this module, students will be able to:

1. describe the typical immigration patterns of Asians throughout U.S. history
2. identify key legislation that prevented Asians from migrating to America and accessing the naturalization process
3. explore the various forms of xenophobic behavior of Americans regarding Asian immigrants
4. explain the civil rights efforts of the Asian American communities during the 1960s and 1970s
5. assess how globalism and warfare of the 20th century impacted Asian Americans and Asian refugees in America
6. explore the issues of the late 20th and early 21st century and how they have impacted Asian Americans
